HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT:

Recruitment:

Starting from a request for recruitment, this feature goes right up to the final confirmation of appointment. A complete recruitment manager in itself, the system schedules tests and interviews, records test and interview results, short-lists and selects applicants for employment. This is supported by various reports and letters such as appointment letters, reference letters etc.


 
Employee Core:

The employee core information covers employee personal & organization-related details such as employee posting, assignments, promotion & increment history, perks, awards and more. More than 300 data elements are maintained for each employee. A powerful filtering and query function enables this mass of information to be retrieved according to user needs.

Training: The training module helps in selection of employees and chalking out a comprehensive training and orientation program. Training needs can be analyzed and a plan can be automatically generated based on appraisal results. 

Appraisal Management: Allows multiple types of appraisals for each employee. Different assessors can do each appraisal, such as by boss, peers, and subordinates. The system weights the scores according to the user-defined formula. The user can specify the appraisal parameters applicable to each type of appraisal and define the range of scores applicable to each parameter.

Succession Planning: This enables the specification and monitoring of key positions along with the feature to short-list possible successors for specified positions as well as specified employees. Identification of possible successors can be done through a combination of user-defined criteria.

Manpower Planning & Budgeting: Enables budgeting and control of employee head count and expenses related to recruitment, loans, increments, bonus, travel, etc. The system tracks actual against budget in real-time.

Productivity Record Management: This feature provides a complete time sheet recording and management system. It includes interface to external time-recording and attendance systems.

Leaves Management: The system provides the facility to define and maintain various types of leaves along with the rules associated with each. The whole process from leave application to sanctioning of leaves is catered for.

End of Term Benefits: The system automates up-to-date accrual and payment of Pension, Gratuity, Funds and other employee dues.

Employee Loans: The system allows definition and management of different types of loans for employees. Interest calculations and repayments can be automated.

Funds: The system allows management of Provident Funds, GPF, and other user-defined funds for each employee. The users can create/design different types of funds with their own rules of operations, including apportioning of profits/interest.

Medical Expense Management: The system allows management of various types of medical expenses, hospitalisation, etc, including checking of employee limit utilisation.

Increments and Promotions: The system allows “What-If analysis scenarios” to determine the impact of increments. The system, in conjunction with the payroll module automatically calculates arrears, if any, due to increments and promotions. Increments and promotions can be fully automated based on Appraisal results and rules defined by the user. As and when required, ad-hoc increments and promotions can be processed for individual employees.


PAYROLL:

The payroll subsystem, in conjunction with the Personnel subsystem, can process monthly &, weekly salaries as well as daily wages. It automatically takes care of the following activities:

Salary Processing:

Complete flexibility to define the standard salary structure by grade of employee as well as by location. Time limited changes to salary can be specified at any point. Up to 99 earnings and deductions can be specified for each employee and each earning and deduction can be tagged with user-defined rules. Back dated changes to salary automatically process arrears with full impact on all earnings, deductions and taxes.

Funds Management:

The payroll feature caters for various types of funds. Both employee and employer contributions can be specified for each fund. Recalculation of contributions is automatically triggered whenever the employee’s salary changes. The system computes interest, distributes profits, maintains up-to-date balances and can be interfaced with external accounting systems.

Loans:

The system computes interest/mark-up, incorporates repayment schedules, automates repayments from salary and updates the corresponding loan balances. It validates permissible loan facility according to user-defined parameters and provides reports such as Employee Loan Statements, MIS etc.

Security Features:

A robust security module provides highly secured business transactions. User access rights can be flexibly defined to control activities by authority levels and activity types such as view only/update/modify, right down to individual transactions. Multi-level authorizations can be defined for each activity.
